Terms of Service & Refund Policy
These terms apply when you use any BestWayDigital tool or buy a listing optimisation package at tools.bestwaydigital.co.uk. By using the site or buying a package you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK or EU law.
1. What the service is
We provide software tools that read the public data of eBay listings you choose (using eBay's official developer APIs and public pages) and generate suggested titles, HTML descriptions, FAQs and item specifics. You download the results as a file and decide yourself whether and how to upload them to eBay. We do not access your eBay account and never ask for your eBay password.
2. Packages, credits and access codes
- A package gives you a set number of listing credits, delivered as an access code shown on screen immediately after payment.
- One credit is used each time a listing is processed in the Bulk Optimiser.
- Codes are valid for 12 months from purchase. Keep your code safe; anyone who has it can use its credits. If you lose it, email us from the address used at checkout and we will recover it.
- Prices are shown before payment and payment is taken securely by Stripe.
3. Refunds
Unused credits: full refund available within 14 days of purchase. Just email sales@bestwaydigital.co.uk with your access code.
Partly used codes: within 14 days of purchase we refund the unused portion pro rata (for example, if you used 40 of 200 credits, we refund 80% of the price).
Used credits: each processed listing is a digital service performed immediately at your request, so a credit that has been spent cannot be refunded once its result has been generated. By starting a batch you ask us to begin the service straight away and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel for the credits that batch uses (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 37).
Faulty results: if a batch fails or produces unusable output because of a fault on our side, we re-run it or re-credit you. That is on top of, not instead of, your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires digital services to be provided with reasonable care and skill.
4. Your responsibilities
- Only submit listings you own or are authorised to manage.
- Review generated content before uploading it to eBay. AI-generated text can contain mistakes; you are responsible for the accuracy of your own live listings and for complying with eBay's policies.
- Do not use the tools to create misleading listings, infringe trademarks, or list items prohibited by law or by eBay.
- Do not attempt to probe, overload or attack the service, share access codes publicly, or resell credits without our written agreement.
5. What we promise and what we don't
- We aim to keep the tools available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Batches interrupted by downtime are re-run or re-credited.
- Generated content is provided as a suggestion. We do not guarantee specific search rankings, sales, impressions or eBay outcomes.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
6. Relationship with eBay
BestWayDigital is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc. "eBay" is a trademark of eBay Inc., used here only to describe compatibility. Our tools use eBay's official public developer APIs under eBay's API terms.
7. Intellectual property
You own the content generated for your listings. We keep the right to use anonymised, non-identifying examples (with product names changed) to demonstrate the service, and you can ask us not to by email.
8. General
We may update these terms; changes apply from the date shown above and never retroactively reduce credits you already bought. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers in the EU keep any mandatory protections and courts of their home country.
